mineral licks

Does anyone know the rules on hunting mineral licks...

when can you replenish them, hunt them and so on?

Are you asking about salt licks that ranchers use for their cattle?

For ungulates their legal, but bears I'd guess it's considered baiting and therefore not??

If it's a natural mineral lick, it's all legal for all animals.

Bait is legal for all big game animals except bears.

I just put into my truck a 50 sack of grain oats and a 50 pound bag of Trace Minerals & salt to bait elk deer.
