I've never hunted goats before and i got a draw for 4-38C. Not to sure what the area is like, just wondering if anybody has hunted it before and would be willing to point me in the right direction?

You'll be able to spot goats from the road at the back end of the goldstream. If it's been raining it can be tough to get across.

You'll also be able to spot goats at the back end of the stitt. Takes about an hour to get to the other side, 3-4 hours if there's snow.

You can glass across the goldstream to French and goats will come down into the slides in November.

Plenty of other spots but these will get you started.

Best hunting is November but it's also much more physically chllenging. Lots of goats, make sure you select a Billy.

And crossing some of that water means getting down to your undies sometimes so be prepared for that.
