Trail Cam "while hunting"?

I love the trail cam idea , and will buy one soon, But I wondered if anyone while out hunting puts up the cam at the end of the day and then in the am , has a look to see what game has passed by in the night?

They date and time stamp. So they can be kept out for a while.

Certainly! Tracks just tell you in which direction they're moving, but the camera not only tell what they are, but when they are moving. That's the whole idea of the thing and gives the hunter a big advantage in planning where to be and when, to better the odds.

I just implemented on paper the time animals came into view of my trail cam the I will be there set up one hour before they show up :wink:..
