WK Scouting Trip.

Got back last night from the WK elk scouting trip with deeks1989 Man O Man was it hot out there in the bush I think I cooked a few cells :icon_frow.

The animals where not moving around in this heat with there winter coats on.

I was not very pleased when I down loaded the movies onto my CP to find out that the one big bull I filmed with velvet hanging off his antlers was not there :(.

What happened was I have a movie camera that takes pictures or movie clips ,well what happened was the switch for movie or pic was on the picture so when I pushed record it did not take the movie clip http://www.huntingbc.ca/forum/images/icons/icon11.gif.

Had a good time looking over some nice area in 4-8 wish it would have been a few degrees cooler would had been nice.

I will be getting things ready to head back into the bush this weekend get camp set up for the up coming elk bow season :-D :-D.

atta boy wayne,where theres fresh chit and tracks, there is critters.i too started getting all the elk gear ready and tested,(making sure everything is still in good working order) this past weekend.i only wish i could be out there scouting.just remember ,if its hot out ,they will be in the thick cool timber where ever there is a good water sorce close by.

Headed back into the bush in the EK for 4 days starting tomorrow to scout out deer elk and check trail cams..

Will be checking my trail cams they have not been checked for almost 3 weeks will be interesting to see what I come up with.

Will be doing lots of practicing with my X bow during the day time lazy hours..
