I have been meaning to post pics for a while of the cougar that I took with Chilcotin Hillbilly this winter. Harley white did the mount for me , and had it back in record time. I am happy with results ,except I need a bigger house to put it in.

my hunting partner hates this cat, and barks her head off when she is allowed in the garage.

Looks awsome..... IMO since I've seen a bunch of PO'd cats. They eyes look a little too open for a one in a serious mood judging by the ear position. But cats almost never look right and even the best in the world mounts I've seen have something to me that don't look quite right with them. It is an exellent job you should be very happy with the results on one fine critter. Good on ya and make a spot for it in your house! I live in a single wide modular home and still have my cat hang'n in it.

FYI.... Looks waaaaay better then my cat done by a 40 year veteran of taxidermy!

He did a real good job... better than any others I've seen aside from ones by "The Cat Man" himself but this one is equally as nice.

Thanks guys, I am very happy with the results. I haven't measured it again since Harley beetled the skull, but when I compulsoried it, it was right around 15.

I'm no cat guy but this cat looks to me like he's in a stalking mode. Not really pissed off.

Either way he looks great!

Time for some renos Maxx:).

That is a really nice job. I don't blame the dog for bark at it.

Maxx;

That is SWEET - I like how you opted for the partial opened mouth, instead of the hiss-n-piss style. I like!

Also; kudos' to you for gettin' out and bagging your own! The one I have, I bought the pelt and had him worked up.

Mouth open, ears pinned back doesnt' look relaxed, but cranky.... More and more I look at the pics it looks very nice mount and their is nothing to compain about what so ever! An exellent job and deserves to be sitting in a high profile spot in the house!

cat looks good
but if you leave it in an unheated garage to long you have a chance of weevils clipping the hair off the side facing the wall

Excellent mount. Curious to know whether or not you caped it out or the taxidermist. I am lucky enough to have the "go-ahead" from the wife to get a cougar mount in the future, but I am a little hesitant to cape it myself. What would you suggest? Thanks.

If you can get it out whole it's best to let your Taxidermist skin it out! That way he can get some measurements off the carcass!

Great looking cat Maxx! I can't believe how quick you got it. Who said you can't have fast and good! Mine was supposed to be ready by August, but haven't heard anything from the taxi yet...

Cheers!

She is a Swiss Mountain Dog (Entlebucher), it is the same family as the Bernese mountain dog, but smaller with short hair. She weighs 40 pounds.

That turned out Awesome, all the snowshoeing up and down Potatoe Mtn, all the slipping and falling was well worth it I would say. Man does your dog look like Burger.

Well worth it is right! Thanks again for all your hard work, and dedication on this hunt!

I told you that Talia looks like a minature Burger.... I doubt she could keep up with him chasing cats though.
