So we decided to head back out for another day on the water over in Winter Harbour. After last Tuesdays awesome day, we were ready to go again.
Got out to Kains to have a true North Wind whipping up some good white caps. After a couple tacks and coho in the boat, we decide to head outside.
It was a good decision.....weather wise.
It was one of those rare west coast days, no swell, calm water and hot as hell!!!

We fished back out where we had the luck on tuesday and after an hour without a sniff, we started looking for deeper water.
I switched back up to bait and soon was into fish, and lots of them!!!!
Most were coho's and a good size, 8-14 lbs. They have to be hatchery fish out there and we must have found a school of them!!! We ended up with 3 hatchery and two springs, a ling and hali offshore, The springs were not there this time and not many were being caught. We fished for a few more hours before heading back in to try Kains.

After the heat of the day bearing down on us, we all felt it so we headed in.
The results of the day. 5 coho, 2 springs, 1 Ling, 1 Hali and a couple fish and chips cod.

Not as busy as Tuesday, but the coho's were wild and a lot of fun on light gear.
Cheers
