If you live in the North Okanagan area, and have kids or grandkids aged 15 and under, bring them to the free "Learn To Fish" program at the Kingfisher Interpretive Center (25 km East of Enderby on the Mabel Lake Road) on Sunday August 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. We arranged to have over 300 catchable rainbow trout delivered to the pond today, and we will supply fishing rods for kids to use. Kids will be allowed to keep 2 fish. This program is geared towards the beginner fisher-person who is interested in learning the ins and outs of SUCCESSFUL fishing. Advice on all aspects of angling will be available from local experts! Sponsored by the B.C. Wildlife Federation Angling Ambassador Program. Lots of prizes too!!
