Took the wife to Pender Island for a weekend get away and these fellas were all over the grounds making short work of the gardens.

But they were really going after the Blackberries and just munching them non stop.

I wonder if the hotel would mind if we came back in September and I brought my Bow along?:wink:

Actually, I think they've got no shooting/hunting areas on North Pender. Good luck if you go.

But I kinda wondered with no natual predators, perhaps they get to be a fair size :wink:

i was recently on Pender Island to pick up my new dog, i think i saw something close to 20 deer. i do beleive you are allowed to use buckshot, we are goin back to pender in oct for the breeder to go over our dog and give us a dog grooming lesson. I am verry tempted to take a shot gun with me, i just have no idea where to go on the island as alot of it is privately owned.
