I was woundering what the access is like here and how is the moose and elk hunting? I've never been further north than williams lake and am looking to explore more of our province. Hopefully this year i'll get more time off work and be able to get 2 weeks off. What are your thoughts on this area? any other MUs that would be better. Keeping in mind I'll have a quad with me so that limits a lot of mu's.

Thanks

I would also be looking at 7-21,7-22,and 7-32. lots of elk and moose. Whitetail Bucks open up Sept 10-Nov30 so, take a tag with you. Good luck..

The reason I was thinking 7-20 was there seems to be almost no vehical restrictions. I've been looking into 7-21 on the north east side of hwy 29. accross from bull moose road. Also it looks like a lot of gas plants in the area what are the rules with regards to them and the mines. Do they own the roads or are they public? and West bull moose raod is closed to vehical for hunting. Is that starting from the hwy?

No moose or elk up here. The weather in October varies from year to year. You can expect anything from 15C to -15. It just depends on the season. There could be snow, but most likely there won't be.

We usually have a snowfall around Haloween that sticks around. Before that it is hit and miss.

I hear that Del Rio spot is really good for elk/moose...
