world record elk "the duke of arrow head"

im guessing that massive guy was found at arrow head, but im wondering if anyone knows the story to his fiunding? was he shot?? or found dead..?

for those of you who dont know about this elk, its hanging in the revelstoke rec centre and has a total antler length of 468 and 2/8". its MASSIVE

the story that I have heard is that it was a pickup on the east shores of lower arrow lake. yes, massive.

the spider bull was hunted by 9 guides all in radio contact with each other, not ethical or fair chase in my oppinion! B&C claims to champion fair chase tactics but they clearly look the other way when it suits them!

i highly doubt that the Spyder bull is actually 'wild,' looking at the antlers it reminds me of those behemoths on the hunt ranches, pumped full of growth hormones and supplements...a mighty fine rouse to say the least.

Questionable on how fair chase it was for sure but one heck of a big animal.
