I went for a little tour of the back 40 again tonight and spotted these mulie bucks along with the same three turkeys I saw last night.

Why would this pic make you wonder????? 100% muley right there!
At least the one sawmill pointed out had whitey'ish antler on one side!

Heres a tip before anyone says the word hybrid....dont look at the antlers, look at the body parts!

BTW, those are giant bucks for the okanagan! Mostly spikers around here!

For sure Mark - not many bigger than these around here. In fact these guys are huge compared to the "Monarchs" I read about in a recent hunting publication. Big deer are way more prolific in the other regions!

BTW - I was kidding about the hybrid thing too. I think I have a picture of this guy's dad. Same antlers, with an extra point on each side. Taken 2 years ago.

Brothers....I'm thinking that one that is the dad is looking pretty old in the face compared to the other buck who looks pretty young:confused: Why do you say brother?

I've had several pm's asking where these deer and turkeys will be on opening day. Unfortunately for us avid hunters, these can now be considered "urban" deer and can't be hunted because they are on private property. Although I fully agree that burns work, these guys are actually proof that golf courses don't adversly affect deer populations. In fact, with less predators on this ridge, I'm sure I will have more incidents of bucks taking my attention away from my work in the future.
