Here are a few birds I saw out in the back 40 today. It looks like the Okanagan Turkey population is alive and well.

Actually, I got a few shots off. One with a driver, another with a 7 iron, 3rd with a putter. Wound up with a nice birdie..

Shouldn't be long, Gunner. They're not too far away now.

Nice to see. This summer a friend of my dads saw a flock out passed Carrs Landing. Another friend of mine saw 3 hens while Muley hunting in Black Mountain.

Great pics Sean.
Are you needing some help thinning out the flock this fall ?
Toms and hens will be open !

No peep from the Huntwriter!

Thanks for sharing!
Anyhow I hope the turkeys migrate W. of Fraser.( 5-03) :-D
-The moose gone LEH- the deer will follow suit soon.
-there will be nothing left to hunt but grouse & turkey!
(the wolves & the coyotes don’t count as I’m not too fond of the meat)

Wild turkeys have already been spotted very close to the breaks of the fraser river. On the east side, but only a few minute flight away from the west!
