Well I got back yesterday afternoon from my scouting trip ,was not very good scouting trip this time out ,animals where not moving around like they where last in there two weeks ago :icon_frow.

Me and deeks1989 had a blast and that is what counted ,friends enjoying them selfs and having fun out where we love to be.

One of our favorite roads has been deactivated from there logging and can not get up to one of our favorite hunting areas .

The animals where not out in open cut blocks like they where two weeks ago there might be a few thing that come into factor why not ????.

I think it was because of the full moon as for the thunder and lightning we had at times during our scouting trip this might be why they where not out in the open clear cuts at first daylight and last day light ???.

I did manage to put out my trail cams where I think I will get some excellent pictures when I go back in there in 3 weeks from now to check them.

I did a stupid thing setting up my last trail cam ,I walked in up hill about 15 min and when looked at the chain I lock the camera up as soon as I saw the lock locked onto the chain I said O no I forgot to bring the key that was on my key chain and my keys are back at the truck where I hid them when I get out of the truck :icon_frow.

Well I had to hike back down to the truck and get the key for the chain in order to unlock the lock.

Shaun might want to add a few stories to this tread has a few pictures and movie clips that he might post up on this thread its up to him if he wants to post them ???.

I have a few clips I will post later on this thread when I get them onto my PC ,I had a real good time out thee in the bush and loved every moment I spent out there .

There where some late nights getting to bed reason being is that I had to stay in where I was set up for the evening till 10pm and when I got back to camp and had a beer and talked to my partner about what we both saw it was 11.30 pm ,then back up at 4.30am to head out..

Now I have to recuperate for two weeks before I head down to the WK for my next scouting trip then when I get back I have to pack up and head out into the bush to set up for bow season ,bessy ,bessy beaver..

I have found that the " Low Pressure" that accompanies a storm effects the game, a severe electrical storm provides drastic pressure changes,, just as it does affect domestic cattle, pay attention to cattle just before a storm and you will see they are all herded/grouped together,
domestic pets, like a dog or house cat get weird prior to low pressure, dogs often eat green grass prior to a storm, quite often the weather reports are not near as dependable as just observing the domestic animals near your location!,

No wonder guys lose their cameras to thieves........

Absolutely no attempt to conceal it whatsoever.

Well thats the chance you take when you want to get some pictures ,it don't matter where your camera is located.

No matter how hard you try to hid your camera chances are that a thief that wants your camera will see it and steel it.

If I did make an attempt to cover this camera up when on a tree don't you think it would be noticeable from where it is ??? ,I sure do.

This place where the trail is there is no place to hid this camera if you want some good pictures thats the chance you take ..

Good to hear you weekend went well Wayen. My cousin and I were up there on Sat afternoon checking our cameras but our wives weren't happy that we left our camp at kookanosa to go do this. So we hurried back after checking them out but really wanted to come have a cold one with you! If not this summer we will def. stop by in the fall.

I did, it was kind of odd that the camera over the creek crossing only got 70 pics this week as the last few weeks have had 400 and 200. And the camera not more than 15 yards away on the wallow had over 200 photos. I will get them posted later on today.
