Sorry this was so late but I want to wish Sammy 99 ( my daughter in Law) straight shooting as she defends her Title for the fourth time at the 3D Nationals in Nova Scotia on Saturday and Sunday. I will try to post updates.
As well Straight shooting to the whole B.C. team including our good friend " Big Al " who is also defending Champion I believe.

Just checked my e-mail. Sam sent her and Al's scores, no placings or anything.
Al shot a 263 out of 270 and sSam shot 256 out of 270. She says they both should have shot better but overall OK. Probably won't get a final update until she is home . Mike

270? are they scorin 11s??? the math doesnt add up unless its 20 11s and 5 targets dont have 11 (X) rings

if they are doing x count that means Al dumped one nickle and an 8
and Sam either shot 7 8s or 2 nickles and 2 8s
11 count .. it could be any combination ... as Both are capible of hammering the 11 ring all day long

Mike ,yes they are scoring 11's I believe based on what Sam said there are 27 targets. She said they should both have been over 270 based on the course difficulty. Mike

going into day 2 (what I know so far)

Sam's email from day one

we are home from day 1....pretty easy course (al and i both shot the same one) and he shot a 263 out of 270 (plus X's so really out of 297, sort of), and I shot a 256. pretty low scores we both feel as it was very easy...i kept missing the 10 high as I could not believe that another target could be at 25 yards....yikes. we did not hang around for scores to be posted so we don't know how we stand...

Email from day 2

after day one, Leon in third, Brian Harper in third, Al in first by one and me in first by 25. kevin and bernie did not have great days. but there are still in the hunt in the top ten. ted was in first by 2 or 3 as well. brock didn't have a great day and is down by at least 20. Darren also in the hunt in the top 6 or 7.

today on a much more difficult course, way way harder....al shot a a 250 out of 260, I shot a 241, kevin shot a 240, brian shot a 239 and bernie shot a 250. the rest of the folks weren't back before al and i left. the c course that we shot today was much longer shots, up and down hill shots, bad footing/stances. it was a very fun course to shoot. i really liked it.

So kinda incomplete info, but it's all i got right now!!

Sounds like a fun time was (and is still being) had by all. Too bad some of us couldn't be there with "our guys" sort of like a rooting section.
