Has anyone been into Hobson Lake (south of Vanderhoof) recently?

I seem to recall bouncing a pick-up in there years ago.

Or is it hike-in only now?

Road's not great but you can still drive in.

Trail is short and easy. I did in 2 wheel drive last season. Rec site is very small...

You can drive to Hobson but Chief Gray is hike-in.

We went in there last year it's about 3km in and you better bring a chain saw, the wind came up and we had to cut our way out 50+ trees. Oh and say hello to that S.O.B. pack rat I hope you get it befor it gets in your truck good luck.
