Took a couple buddys from work to salmon beach and ended up with 9 nice springs( high teens to low 20's) and almost every one was a line screaming...few sore knuckles for the new guy, but all part of the fun. We were up for two days and fished the south bank, we were on the southern backside and it was spotty at first but we found a few schools and then we were off to the races ! Little choppy and socked in but when the actions hot who cares...
All in all it was a great couple days

Looks wicked, wish I was there! Nothing better than killing salmon when there is nothing open to hunt.

Nice work. It is fun to bug the friends when they get a good knuckle rap though!

Right on Brent:-D!!! Nice fish. Sounds like a great trip. It's been on fire for awhile now. Did you hook into any coho? I still can't get over the awesome view you have from your lot:mrgreen:.

Are you heading up for the long weekend? We'll be up for 4 days.

Cheers

Thanks John, it really was a great trip especially considering I forgot my trailer hitch ball and didn't realize till I backed the truck up to the boat:shock: ! luckily I was able to borrow one from a friend who has a lot down by the boat ramp...there was a few moments of panic at first though...LOL !

yes we hooked into at least 3 or 4 coho...all wild though

The wife and I have holidays starting the week after the long weekend so we won't be up then, but we will be up alot after that so I'll let you know the next time we head up.

 I think we have all been there done that at one time or another.
Last year I forgot the keys to the boat in Nanaimo and had to wake up the wife to meet us in Port with them (I'm still paying that one off).

We'll have to hook up the weekend after this one.
