Here are some gems from the past week at my trail camera. I must say the photos keep getting better!

You will notice in this one that there is 2 bulls. Its a new bull and the one from above I think. All I know is I had multiple bulls in a shot on more than one occasion.

I am hoping they stick around and I will plug any of them in bow season. The 6 would be tops but elk meat is elk meat.

yes there is mule deer standing with some of the bulls in the shots, I noticed that too and thought it was odd as usually the deer clear out when the bulls come through.

For all you hunters out there that think that bucks and bulls ONLY move in the morning and evening, take a look at picture #2, mid afternoon at the hottest time of the day and there is a good WT buck going for a walk.

Good looking spot and great picts!!!

Thanks

Cheers

Awesome pics!! I checked mine after 1 month in a muley spot only to find the frickin' batteries dead and no pics. What kind of batt's do you use and how long do they last?

What make and model of cam? Those are some of the clearest pics I've seen on here from a trail cam. Good spot you've found there!

I've got a Moultrie I40 as well.
Goes a looooong time on the 6x Dbatteries.
And Photos and Vids are great resolution.

Looks like a great natural traffic pathway.
Do you have an ambush spot picked?
How are you gonna hunt it?

Well for the spot that I have been showing on this camera its kinda hard to hunt it from the side of the creek that the camera is on. I am going to make a natural blind or use a ladder tree stand to put the smack down on that spot.

15 yards behind this camera we have another camera on a huge wallow that is being hit almost more than this crossing is. This wallow has a excellent spot for my to put my ground blind and have a 20-30 yard shot at the whole place. The location of the blind is ideal as it allows access from a few sides that the game do not seem to come from so I can sneak right in.

We are hoping to bow and gun hunt this spot and to have some success I hope.... lol

Wow that wallow sounds great.
I can sure see how a blind is tempting.
That's one of my favs - picking out a honey hole and working it hard.

I will look forward to hearing how you made out with the spot come hunting season.
Good luck,
mataxa

If you show me this place I will use my self climing tree stand to shot that bull elk then let you use the tree stand for the deer ..
