View Full Version : looking for a weekend cabin

Hey guys and gals.My world has been so busy i want to take the family away for the weekend.I am looking for a cabin where the kids can swim,do a little fishing and slow things down for a while.any tips would be great.I dont want to go farther than 100 mile,merrit or say princeton area.we also have a wiener dog to take with us.

It would be much easier to draw a 100 mile radius if we knew where the center of the circle was :wink:

We rent three days minimum and are great.

We rented some cabins on Sheridan lake up by 100 mile a couple years ago. We had a blast nice cabins good lake for fishing did a little dirtbiking and wakeboarding. fun time

Lots of pet friendly cabins in Tulameen.
Lake and River within easy walks and the store has ice cream and cold beer. :-D

just had a great weekend at birtch lake resort,great fishing a nice sandy beach for the kids small private located just east of 100 mile.

I stayed at BigfishCanadas cabin on Red lake last summer, they are very, very nice, fishing was fantastic and as he said, dogs are ok with permission. The cabins have all the comforts of home, without the TV, computer, cell phone coverage etc :-D When I booked, I questioned if I could take my dog, no issues at all.

Pillar lake resort north of falkland. Been going there on and off for the best part of 30 years.
