big ol' rainbow [Archive]

Here are two nice rainbows. The little guy is 2lbs (Im guessing) The big guy weighed 5 lbs. These two were caught out here in the kootenays. My biggest rainbow to date. We caught rainbows till it got hot, then fished for bass. It was a great day.

Nice fish. I'd guess the big one at well more than 5.

Thanks! I put the big one on the scale and it said 5. Its possible the scale was out tho.

Nice! Thats a wopper for sure. How was the bass fishing?

The bass fishing was so so. There were lots of them, it was pretty non stop hookups but nothing of any good size. I think the biggest was only 10 inches. But Id never fished bass at that lake before and thought I would give it a try. And I think I will still try it anyway I do believe that there are some bigger ones in there.
