Can I take a WT doe in region 8 and then go to region 4 and take another WT doe?

No..............

The regs are very clear. Only ONE doe or ONE buck for whites and only ONE mule buck or a mule doe if you have an leh for it..... 3 total no matter how you slice it

Where in the regs does it say you can't harvest 2 whitetail does in two different regions?

I just took a quick look and to me it seems you can take a wt doe in 8 and another in region 4....am I missing something?

Actually if you wanted to you could kill 3 whitey does. 3 deer provincial baglimit. How you acheive that is up to you as long as you don't exceed the Regional baglimits of any region.

Clear as mud. Hahahahaha. Those are for reach region. Move from region to region and presto, full freezer of does or 3 mule buck whatever.

OOPs I stand corrected. Just tried to find what I thought was there. I was reading the region limits. Looks like its good to go. But I would send a email to the powers at be and see what they say.....

Regional Bag Limits (Region 4)
Deer: The aggregate bag limit in the Kootenay Region is two. The bag limit for mule (black-tailed) deer is one. The bag limit for white-tailed is two, only one of which may be a buck, and one of which may be antlerless.
That looks and reads like only one white-tailed doe to me, but I could be wrong.

You can shoot 2 deer in reg4
buck white tail and doe white tail
or
buck mulie and whatever white tail
but only 1 doe and 1 buck white tail

always read your hunting regulations with the 'provincial bag limits' first and then there's no confusion.

yes the regional bag limits are very clear. But there is NO provincial bag limits for WT does? As far as I read the answer is there is NO provincial bag limit for WT does. But obviosly you must follow regional bag limits to get them

The Provincal bag limit for all DEER is 3, except for the QCI of course....and yes WT does are DEER.

You can shoot one WT doe in R3, one in R4, and one in R8, for your provincial bag limit of 3 deer.

In R4 you can shoot:

1 WT doe and 1 WT buck, OR
1 WT doe and 1 MD buck, OR
1 WT buck and 1 MD buck.
