A friend of mine was up that way a few weeks ago and told me he had seen a few cariboo cross in front of him, i figured he was full of it but now that ive looked in the regs and seen there is a season in 5-12 im kinda curious if others have seen them and if it would be worth the time? Ive always wanted to go for one but i never get much time off so if there actually around i may have to give it a try.

Yup and some pretty BIG ones @ that..a bit NORTH of Anihim lake...towards SATAH mt..and that area...
There is a valley I fly though that at time holds lots of em...they cover the high ground and all the way down through the timber

satah mtn? is that an area a person could drive into or quad only sort of thing? Is it an area that i could weekend hunt or would it be difficult to find them?
There are a couple of different groups around, you often see them at the side of the road in July and around Charlotte Lake (5-06) area in the fall.
Access into the area (5-12) to hunt is difficult.

there also is a "trail" for horses in from the north coming south west..or there is a lake to fly in to...

Yup, part of what makes the access difficult ;) Also motor vehicle restrictions.
