Can anyone walk me thru on how to post pix on the site?

I'll type slow so you can keep up. LOL
I find that using a service like "photobucket" (there's many others) is best.
Get an account, they're free. If you can find your pictures in your computer, you can up load them to PB easy.
Once up loaded, open a second Internet session and get HBC running.
In PB click on the image you want to paste. Click it again to make sure it's in large format. On that page, you'll see three choices for links in the lower left corner of the page. Use the bottom one. As you click it, you'll see it flash yellow "copied"
Now go to the thread you want to add your picture to here on HBC and either
Ctrl V or paste with a right click of the mouse.

Preview the post to see it worked, then submit for us all to see :wink:

Your pictures have to be uploaded to picture hosting site. Like the gallery here at HBC.

Once there they are given a URL address. (

When you want to post a picture open another window with either the HBC gallery or where ever you picture is.

Now you have two windows open, one HBC ( with a thread you want to post a pic too) and a second HBC window (the gallery and the picture you want to upload.

Go to the picture window and right click the picture, a drop down menu will appear with Properties at the bottom. Click properties and you will see a few things pop up, one is the URL address, will look something like this (
http://www.huntingbc.ca/photos/data/500/medium/papa_buck_3.JPG)

Now copy the URL address.

Once copyied go back to the HBC thread window and hit reply to the message. Once that opens up (where you type your message). You will see a yellow box with a mountain and a sun in it. Click this button (insert image button).

A seperate little window opens that wants you to enter the URL of the image. This is where you paste the URL that you copied. Make sure there is only one (HTTP:) at the front. Then you click OK and you should see the image.

I had trouble at first and found this is the easiest method.Follow those instructions you should have no trouble.
