Moosehunter -

What happened to your thread ... did you delete it ???

Isn't that the blackbear you missed by 1 inch at 200 yards !!

I still want to know how you know you missed that bear with a 7mm and how you know you missed by only 1 inch.

Did you get buck ......err bear fever ??

Then I gotta really know if your parents let you skip school to go bear huntin' that day ??

So noted that its on the youth forum.

However - a little education is in store for you since you skipped out.

Lesson: It does not matter if your rifle scope is on 2.8 or 4 or 6 etc....... the point of impact is the same. It does not change.

what do u mean it wasnt on what u sighted it in on??? if u sight a rifle in on 3 and then crank it up to 9 its still going to be almost if not the excat point of impact....

bcrams u just snuck in before me...

not always...

a piece of shit scope can change point of impact with power settings

Yeah.

I've also noticed that sometimes, when newbies change the power of the scope they change how they hold the gun. They move more forward, etc. And that WILL cause problems, although it's a problem with the newbie - not the scope :)

Holy there Bcrams, let it go, he messed up, so what, leave the kid alone. You seem awefully eager to jump on moose hunter.

Ive put some X bullets through a bear stump, not once, but three times in a row

I swear it was a bear

(actually there *was* a bear on the road, and he ran into the bush. a dark root behind a small poplar tree looked like him stopping)
