Found this guy in Cottonwood Flats. ;) I think it's safe to say he'll still be legal by the time he sheds his velvet.

Sorry but all I see is a 50" bull that's not gonna get a chance to make it there.

Looks like the bushes by the Vavenby area in MU 3-41 the LOST CREEK ROAD by CHUCK CREEK real good for game and real easy to get too.
Thanks for the picks and the INVITATION to come over.
Jel .. MU 3-41 at Vavenby excellent moose deer and bear be there or be a loser.

I see a much better eating bull than a 50" bull. :-D

Not to mention 'opportunity' for a hunter to shoot a moose who doesn't have a tough hard to draw LEH tag.

Apparently there are no guides for immy's... some people wouldn't know how to hunt one without a guide...

A 50 inch bull is still a dink. Might as well kill them when they are nice and yummy instead of waiting till they taste like boot leather. If you are trophy hunting moose in the south, you need to give your head a shake. A dink is a dink is a dink.
And BTW david, if you really think a bull like this even remotely has the potential to ever reach 50 you are on CRACK. Shitty genetics equate to bulls within their first year being spike forks. Good genetics means bulls will be palmed with 4 within their first year.

Jelly,
You need to get out more. Chuck Creek isn't off of Lost Creek Road. It comes off of Rd 2 Vavenby Adams. Get your directions straight man. How many times do I have to make you eat your words. Now, the area of the pics does look like Lost Creek Road Birch Island. But again, more swamps that are Private. At least the Lost Creek Road swamps are posted very well. You shoot a moose on them, you know you are breaking the law. With numerous homes within earshoot, you'll need to be explaining to the judge why you purposefully poached a moose. Since we know you can type, you can't plead that you can't read. So, in a nutshell, Lost Creek moose, no, not easy to get. Sorry about your luck bud. Try again.
As for the real location of the bull in the pics, it is on 100% crown land. Maybe you can make another very uneducated guess.

I find it interesting that david would throw that comment out towards me as I ain't the one that can't hold my trigger finger when I see a 3 year old 150 class muley. Maybe david should practice what he preaches eh?

I recall a post of his that stated that the mule deer management practices in BC suck and that Alberta is way better. Funny how a small group of DIY weekend warriors in BC consistantly kill monsters and yet the GOABC can't seem to kill anything bigger than 150-160 class bucks. Maybe it's not the management practices in BC that suck. Maybe it is the BC Guides and Outfitters that suck eh?

Yep. I hear it all the time from the GOABCers in region 8, like Brandow, who think WT deer are nearly extinct because they are shitty hunters.

I'm a meat hunter and interested in good eats in my freezer. I'd rather have a 270 lb immy than a set of 50" antlers and 800 lbs of stinky burger.

Ayup......you gotta let the buns get SUPER stale so that the antlers have a similar texture to the buns while chomping down on em'.

Why is their never "horn soup" on the menu at restaurants that serve veal?

Hey, FD. My moms place is a stones throw from Brando's house. I think I'm going to give him a call when I shoot my WT in mom's yard and see if he can come and skin it for me. What you think?:-D

Nice pics. I'll be trying for an immy (first one) this year.
Last of the venison should be gone at the end of this weekend.
Nothing left but 2 or 3 packs of hamburger.

Thing is. If I get an immy, then I'll have too much meat because I'll want to go for my WT and Mule. (lifes tough)

ps: Had some BBQ beef last night (first beef in over 8 months). Outside round Steak. Disgusting, chewy, tastless, chewing gum compared to the same cut on my Muley.
