My New Whitetail Mount

Terry from Lagoon taxidermy mounted this one for me and I just picked it up the other day.

Nice buck Carl. I have a couple of muley's mounted but still waiting to cut a whitetail tag. What did he score.

Beauty buck, really tall. If it was looking at you square on it would be hard to tell which it was mule deer or whitetail.

Swamper, a big Muley was what I was really hunting for I past up several legal (4 pnt) mulies because none were the 180" hog I wanted :)

This whitetail scored around 150 net. If the back G2 on the one side was symetrical it would have went 173 Net which would have made it a book buck.

Regardless I am a happy hunter!

Very nice buck Carl, congratulations. Very high rack, at first glance it could be almost mistaken for a mule deer. Beautiful even spread. Where did you take that buck?

This is the buck you see in the background. I took him in 2004. About 1/4 mile from where I got the other one. These are region 7 bucks.

This one is a non-typical he was an old campaigner... He was mounted by Terry at Lagoon taxidermy as well.
