I've seen alot of people swear by siltarp/silwing in conjunction with whatever tent, specifically the ID Mega Sola, but if you have a tent where does the tarp fit in? Just a general shelter or for gear, or is it an emergency thing so you leave your tent for the day hike but bring the tarp in case you get caught with your pants down?
