This is not my only mount and not the first, but it is the first mount I made from start to finish by myself. My wife, a photographer and artist, helped me with decoration ideas. I am very proud of how it turned out. The decoration, including the wooden plate, consist of material that I found at the site where the ram dropped. The plate is oak and cut from a tree that grows at the ranch the animal was taken. The mount is an exotic sheep that shot in Texas on one of my early promotional hunts with bow and arrow.

dana,

those log bases for your skulls look awsome. Looks reasonably simple, but very nice for sure.
