Which hunts are you planning?

Which fall hunts are you planning and dreaming of right now? Check any that you are going on with someone or to fill your own tag. Even if its just a weekend hunt or a 3 week hunt.

Would love to try some elk hunting but this year it's looking like Upland game and deer again, followed by predator hunting this winter.

I hadn't realised how busy I'm going to be this year until you put this thread up. I checked off almost all of the boxes. Hope I have enough time to hunt all those animals, and if'n I'm successful much, I'm going to need another deep freeze.

I hear ya! I was looking at my schedule and trying to figure out when to do what. Its looking like I will have to cancel parts of hunts, or reorganize when they take place. LEH kinda threw a wrench in and I now have some issues. Cuz LEH is more of a priority than GOS. Dont know when those tags will come again.

Doing the usual deer,waterfowl and upland bird hunting, but I might try moose.

I dream of doing a caribou hunt, but I just can't commit the logistics. Since I didn't enter any LEH draws it'll be shorter trips in Regions 2 and 3 for bucks and maybe another bear. Coyote hunting is usually sitting on top of the tractor after a haycutting while I cool off.

deer hunting and moose. I just buy a moose tag incase i see an immy. and peace region winter elk hunt

Would love to shoot one Wolf, for the wall, and will also try Geese.


It's the old story, if you don't have a tag for the animal, you' ll go out and see a beauty and only be able to photograph it.:confused:

On the island, will have lots of GOS time here. Have a moose draw for kootenays, will hopefully coincide with a generous elk, whitey, muley season. + a nice bear somewhere along the way

stone sheep solo backpack... ugh. the logistics involved are killing me, but at least it takes my mind off daydreaming of the hunt.

Also if while I'm on the mainland any Preds happen across me that haven't been listed they will prolly go down as well. Not sure how successful I will be in filling all of them, but those are the tags I already have or planned on picking up ;)

I have a sheep hunt on the go August 1st. Then I'm taking out the bow and going for early moose and possibly a goat. See if I have a free weekend for it. I have a few friends with LEH so I'll be taking them out and try to call in a few. Busy fall. Should be fun. Hope I have some pics to share.

Sept 1.......Trying to get my girlfriends brother his first WTD.
Sept 9th I will be heading to the whiteswan for elk, deer and goat till the 14th.
Every weekend after the 14th I will be sheep hunting up the salmo creston till the 25th of October.
Hunt Mulies hard until the 10th of November then Finish the year off with Whitey hunting till the 20th of December !
