Yah, buy some really good boots because there is no road access that gets you very close to goat country. That is why there is 100 or so permits there. Good luck.

lots of goat look for bleasedale probably the closest to the road still 3-5 hr walk. get in good shape and good boots if you are going late bring crampons for traction. conor lake is good as well but a long walk 8-10 km. i have shot 4 goats in zone b find some crags and do lots of spotting you will tag a good goat good luck

I actually would not mind reading few stories from hunters that hunted above mentioned area.

Do you guys camp on these mountains or walk up and down these mountains everyday on your hunting trip?

Lets say you dont see a goat but you see a deer, do you take that shot or wait for the goat?

I have hunted zone b 3 times, put a few miles on the boots and you will shoot a goat. Connor Lake is a good plce to start. we hve always had good luck in there. I like the late hunts as the cape is more impressive than the early season ones. Good Luck

I've had goat draws up there three times. Hiked into the back country, set up a spike camp, glassed, spot and stalk. Usually do this the first week of November.

You won't have trouble finding goats.......but finding one that you can stalk, kill and recover is the tricky part. It takes time.

Everyone thinks because the area has 100 tags it is a slam dunk.....but that couldn't be further from the truth.
