What size of Ram is Legal in Alberta and do you need a draw? Kind of a complex question maybe I should ask what is legal in this area?

Pretty much all of Alberta is just a general over the counter tag. Legal size is 4/5th curl with only a couple being full curl.

This is a 4/5th zone general tag.

I guess 4/5 is the same as BC's full curl Bighorn where you draw a line from the base of the horn through the nose and the horn must pass this line. Is there any age included with the 4/5 curl? I stopped at Cadomin mines about five years ago and saw some great Bighorns and a monster Muley buck. I live on Vancouver Island so whenever I get off the Island I usually try to hunt or view sheep. Also last year we went up through Jasper/ Grand Prairie and came back into BC to hunt and saw some monster Rams at Jasper

Our 4/5 is from the front of the horn base down through the front of the eye.
And yes any age is allowed.

If that mule deer was a non typical then he is no longer. They shot a big one last fall that alot of people had veiwed .
