well a few weeks back I passed on a beauty Blonde Color phase just because I was unsure of the regs, so last weekend I was on the prowl for a spring bear... I wanted one for some meat and the rugs are apparently in good condition this year because of a cold spring...

Saw lots of deer, some nice Bucks, Lots of white tail does, and a few mulie does.

After passing on bears this spring in search for a biggun, I spotted this guy and could not refuse! I spotted him about 500 meters away in a cut, and the stalk was on. As I was stalking up on the bear I jumped a whitey Doe and she went ripping into the trees. I lost track of the bear for a few mins, just for him to poke his head up the very back knoll.

I got to about 280m (well 281 steps... so about 280-300m) took a fallen tree as a rest and let him have it!

As a crow flies, he went about 15 feet... as I had to climb about 60 feet DOWN a cliff almost to a ravine.

Measured out 5'10 in wing span and 5'1" nose to tail with a amazing coat.

These pictures make him look alot darker then he is.

blondest bear I have ever seen! Looks orangey in the late night pics, but it wasnt in real life! Will make a beauty rug for sure. Something to be proud of! And now you know how to pull the toes and turn the ears. As for your cutting job on the back feet....Always start at the centre of the pad.
