This is just North of the LP crossing. None of the pics are cropped, I have about 80 more pics. I was 40-50 yards away. The wife wasn't very impressed to watch me lay between the rails so that I could rest the camera on the rail.

That is a beautiful bear, and great photo's. I have a friend going up near Bella Coola to go ona grizzly photo trip and that is costing him close to $1800, I should send him to your place and you can show him real up close and personal spots and probably a little cheaper too.

Of all those pics did you do any self portraits...you know....where you hold the camera at arm's length and take apic of yourself with the grizz just over your shoulder??:-D

I think we need to shift those Koot grizz seasons 2 weeks later.

Kimberley and Cranbrook have their urban deer, Golden has urban grizzlies and cougars,,,,,, yah judging by where these photos were taken this lil' guy is right on the verge of a whole pack of trouble if he doesn't vamoose outta there real quick.

Very good pics!! pretty clear, nice focus, composition is very nice! 40- 50 yrds laying down resting the camera on the rail??........................................Hmmm am I the only one who thinks this is a little fool hardy, laying on a railway track 40-50 yrds from a Grizz??? Thanks for the pics, your potential sacrifice is appreciated!! Moosin
