Interestingly............I entered my hunter's number around noon and my spring grizz draw popped up....but the number corresponded to the MU next door:?. Thought I was poaching or something.....until I got home and checked the real paper permit and everything was fine. Originally I found out by phone.

Holy, the LEH gods were generous again this year!! After a 6 year drought for me, I drew a Bull moose last year. This year I drew an elk in the 7-20a dec-feb season, either sex. My sister drew the same species, zone and time but antlerless, and my dad and father in law each drew moose bulls in 7-12b!! My dad and father in law each were on a 8 year dry spell in the LEH, so finally it come around for them! My mother in law was skunked again for year number 9 in a row!! Moosin

Once again I have been shat on by the LEH! I have never in 13 years been drawn for anything that was better odds than 1-1. I did get a goat draw, but missed on moose, sheep, anterless deer, bison, grizzly (last year was 1.1-1), and Elk. Also all of my uncles (4) missed everything I put them in for, plus 3 of my friends missed everything that I put them in for. Maybe someone else needs to start putting in for these draws, cause I can't get drawn for anything!

Finally! First LEH, fourth year entering. Kootenay River, group, Bull Moose! wasn't my first choice in the province, but compromised with my group. Will be there for end of Elk season, hopefully any muley buck in october, whitetails galore and hopefully an interior blackie for me if there is time and room. :)

- Bighorns, Stones, Calis, Goats, Moose, Elk, Caribou, Mule Deer, Whitetail, Blacktail, Black Bears, Cougars, Wolf etc etc etc.

Near as I can figure only G Bears, Dall Sheep and Rosies need an LEH to go hunting in BC (don't count this as gospel as I havn't really looked into it).

Good on you guys that are cranked for some LEH success, I applied for a few as well and have been rewarded with a couple of draws.

I am also looking more forward to some GOS action in 2010, those that recieved a NIL should do the same.

Shoot straight in 2010 and enjoy exploring the wilds of BC while being thankful for the opportunity.

That's my thoughts as well. While the boy and I both drew grizz and muley doe, we'll be spending the bulk of our time enjoying the GREATEST PLACE ON EARTH hunting our asses off in General Open Seasons.
