As some of you know, our daughter Breanne has a real love for animals (no she is not anti-hunting but she has her treehugger ways). I thought I would post a few pics of the critters she cares for as a zookeeper.

Not many people get to see these animals in the wild as they are endangered in their native countries so I thought it would be neat to share.

This is Kinky (a kinkajou) - she loves her bananas (she has a very sweet tooth)

She also cares for Ring Tailed Lemurs, Black Lemurs, Red Ruffed Lemurs

She had a few babies born to her Lemurs

these are the African Wild Dogs - Breanne gets to feed them daily (calf meat diet and the occasional road kill deer)

sweet ... ever since I seen "Madagascar" and the head lemur as annoying as he is I have wondered what they would taste like done on the BBQ....

Funny I'm not scared of much but I'd cry like a girl if I had to go in that cage and deal with those. Anything like a monkey etc.

Mike - it is sofunny - those Lemurs are really as wacho as in the movie and yes, she has a Foosa as well to care for. shhhhshhhhhh the Foosa is coming lol

I'd assume Aldergrove zoo? We're planning to take the kids in two weeks. (and we are hoping the'll enjoy their new home:eek::mrgreen:)

Phil - all children fit in at the Vancouver Zoological Centre - it is just a 3 minute drive from our house lol - Breanne works for Mountain View Breeding and Conservation Facility in Fort Langley

yeah wasnt to bright,but it seemed like a good idea at the time.I knew Ali would tell her what i said and i had a good idea what Breanne would say so i just had to.But its okay after threatning to do really bad things to me,shes knows i was just bugging her.....good thing for me:-D
