hunting around mabel lake

me and my gf are thinking about doin a last min hunting trip around mabel lake this weekend... can anyone give me any ideas on where to go!?!... ive done a ton of fishing out that way but never any hunting... any advice would be appreciated!

lots of good area out there. should see bears if you put on some kms. from kelowna there is a bunch of good rds inside of 30 kms on mabel lake rd. lots of creeks running down, long green grass. good recipe for sucess. good luck.

Ya bear hunting around mabel can be successful, last fall we got a nice little black bear up around mabel.

I hunted there 3 yrs running about 40 yrs ago, had great success every summer right on the beach, just look for the bikini's that are filled the best and make a stalk! 3 a day was not unheard of at that time!! LOL

I kinda like the north end...... less hunters, and excellent powerlines. Plus you can recce it now for fall hunting opportunities. Great white-tail hunting there!! There is also a burn to hunt up Dairy Creek Road.
