Disease carrying flying rats. They taste like the junk they eat. No fields of grain for them to get a nice taste from as these are non-migrating geese. Do everyone a favor and get your quota.

My support of helping MOE is getting pretty thin..... we had the solution for them but when they were going to give us a 2 bird permit regardless of how many shooters, they can let the goose $h!# pile up. Seemed simple to let "compotent" people who know about shooting in tight urban area's and know how to call geese do the job but I guess that won't happen. I'm sorry we couldn't help.

The same way they address the turkey problem. Label them as an unwanted pest then put on a short season and a bag limit.
Like the early winter goose season also, not many takers so why not let them take what they want ?
As if they would rather have 100 guys out shooting in the 'burbs.

Goose hunting in Penticton will require a membership in BCWF or a similar group, 2 million in liability insurance, and a letter of permission from an agricultural landowner, only then will the city give you a permit.

Have fun.

The goose season ends too soon and there should be no split in the late season...keep er goin...and let those "compotent" people shoot away. They make good jerky
