Finally got something to stand still long enough to get a picture or two.

I've seen 15 or so black bear, and half a dozen moose/deer in the past 3 weeks, but these were the first good pictures I could get.

Using a Fuji Finepix 1800 with 18x zoom. This is at maximum zoom, at about 40 metres. Cost $250. Seems a pretty good buy so far.

First bear of the 20 or so I've seen this spring I've managed to get decent picture of. Good sized bear.

I thought this little fella might have mom around, but no sign of her.

I am seeing a lot of bears this spring. Saw two more today, and I travelled about 150 kms.
