Hey guys, I'm new to this forum and have a question for the B.C. guys. Is there any area in B.C. that allows a non-resident to apply for a grizzly draw or do you have to go through an outfitter? I'm an Alberta resident.
Thanks.

Outfitter!!! Expect to pay an arm and a leg!!
You have to go through a guide.
For sheep and griz. If you wanted anything else you just need to make friends with a BC'er and fill out some paperwork.

That's kind of what I figured. Thanks anyways guys. Since the tree huggers got our hunt shut down and I highly doubt we'll ever see it again it looks like B.C. or the Yukon are my best options.

Thanks. There are no draws available for non -resident hunters.
The only options are general open seasons and outfitters.

OR you could establish your primary residence in BC, after 6 months of residency you can apply for grizzly LEH. :-D We have higher taxes and fuel prices but our hunting is more diverse...we have more lakes...we have salmon and salt water fishing.....a move to BC is a good move for a sportsman IMHO:)

Gotta agree with you on the hunting/fishing in B.C. I think your gov't runs a better show when it comes to hunting etc. also. Alberta is not doing a very good job right now.

You are able to hunt the general open season, with a resident hunter that applies for a permit to accompany on your behalf.

Unfortunately there is no open season for Grizzly and sheep are apparently not an option as well.
