i actually did this yesterday on a real small guy, it was fun. wouldn't have tried it with something bigger though, i was by myself.

What's there not to be sure about? It's a segment from the Bowhunter TV - Bowhunting Magazine - with Larry D. Jones. Larry is an award winning outdoor writer, game call manufacturer and 40 year traditional bowhunting veteran and inductee of the National Bowhunter Hall of Fame. He has killed just about every game animal in North America and in Africa. He probably has forgotten more about hunting than most of us ever will know.

The second segment shows Dwight Schuh, Chief Editor of Bowhunter Magazine, award winning book and outdoor writer, and inductee of the National Bowhunter Hall of Fame.

thats the same guy that shoots a bull moose @ 8 yards or so and gets charged right away. i'm sure everyone has seen this clip, they do seem a bit like unruly cowboys, but hey, whatever floats their boat.

Not going to lie we chase bears bears up trees all the time. Just sneak up and then start running at them barking like a dog haha. Seems to work "most" of the time

Most is the key word. It can change really quickly, even with a pack of dogs.:shock:

Only had bears turn around and chase back twice. Both times they were sows.

Never stand directly below the bear at the bottom of the tree. :mrgreen:

It's funny, as long as you aren't the one at the bottom of the tree.

None other than my huntin' buddy Gary Hilbaloney guiding Mr Jones. If you think Jones was brave chasing that bear, you should have been with us when Gary climbs the tree next to a cougar we treed, and tries to grab its tail. Crazy fun!

Is that a legal hunting method ? what the Hay are you doing messing with wildlife like that ? Cougar pursuit is OK, but you are stepping over the line ! I'm going to go and find some site to quote showing the faults of your actions. I don't care if you did use a truck or quad, thats just not right. Poor puddytat..........
