I took my cheating :roll:hounds out and had a filmed hunt for Tred Bartas tv show. Tred managed to harvest a younger boar with his long bow. Quite an accomplishment considering the doctors had given him 2 months to live about a year ago. He trained for 8 months to be able to pull a 55lb long bow, as after his spinal stroke he was only able to pull 20 lbs. It took 4 people to get him threw the swamp and into the tree. I was glad when he made a great shot and the bear came out dead. This will be one hunt he or I will not forget for a long time.

Bernie The old fellow that tagged along with me for about a week walking in to the trees I thought he could get to. Not bad for 82

Leonard Ellis and his son Daniel. Leonard was the host outfitter for the show.
