Alright, so I've procrastinated posting this little adventure in region 4. The goal for the extended weekend 3 weeks ago was to bag my 1st grizz but I ended up with another color phase blackie.

Saw these daddies headbuttin on the hwy, thought it was neat and snapped a pic, glad they didnt headbutt my car, because they thrust prettty hard. I'm guessing its practice since I didn't see any ladies around.
So hunting time starts the next day! (btw i could only post 5 pics because apparently thats all i'm allowed)

We looked inside this abandoned mine..no grizz hinding in there.. haha

And this little porker doesn't have much of a story to him. We were driving along to our destination as i'm keeping an eye of our surroundings. I spot this bear and at first I yelled Grizz! because the way he was standing fooooled me!
haha, so we stop and I decided to take him down since the day was nearing to an end and we had some blackie tags.
He wasn't the biggest bear just 6' but had alot of fat on him which is very surprising because its still early in the area !!
I liked the hide enough to get a rug done (taxidermist bud in the area)
And to top it off, I got a call from Beltrame meats today to pick up my pepperonizz and charizosszz (this was the reminder to post up the trip)
Annywhoozle, we did see a grizz, a smaller boar but decided to let him go because we're going for his daddies and grandpas. These are the tracks of the bear we saw..QUESTION! how big is he??? I estimated 6.7' and he was bulky

I'm back this following weekend with some days taken off that will make for four days of hunting. Hopefully I will cut my grizz tag and have another story on here.
