These are pictures of the locked moose antlers my friend found in early January 2010. Him and his dad were ski-dooing and walked into the the timber where a bunch of ravens were, this is what they found. The antler spreads were 45" and 47" . The larger one had a tine stuck through the nose of the other one. They were found in Region 7-A

A pretty rare find for sure. Too bad a guy couldn't clean it all up nice, put it all back together - solid, and make a real nice lawn ornament out of it. It probably wouldn't stick around too long before someone took it away.

The neighbor cleaned up his old barbeque and parked it on his front lawn yesterday, because he bought a brand new fancy stainless steel one.
I was mowing lawn and watching - within ten minutes a car stopped and grabbed it. The neighbor didn't even get back into his house before it was gone. I thought that was pretty rare too.

Hope they both got to spread those genes around a bit before they died...

Wash the raven crap off them and they will make a once in a lifetime antler mount. They would look great on a pedestal base.

If a person had the money and room in your place you could shoot two other bulls over the years to come and get full six mounts done on them two bulls locked antlers this would be http://www.huntingbc.ca/forum/images/icons/icon6.gif to have ,not many hunters or others would ever have the chance over a life time to find something like this and have that opertunity to mount the two bulls with these antlers locked together..

Very lucky find on your part http://www.huntingbc.ca/forum/images/icons/icon6.gif..

There is a group in the states that did just that called "forever locked." They travel around showing them at different events
