Well I'm happy and proud to annouce that the wife finally got her first bear with a bow. First bear ever, been trying for 6 years. Had numberous chances over the years at everything from blonde, brown, and black color phases. Also every size amangable. She has been so close so many times just never worked out for one reason or another. But this week she spotted this nice black bear, stalked to 20 yards and made the perfect quartering away shot right in the boiler room. After skinned out the boar measured 6'3" square, pretty sure skull will make pope and young. NOT to bad for first bear. Pretty proud of her. Guess the wait was worth it.:mrgreen:
