goin up camping this weeknd to pachena. gonna bring the boat to set some crab traps. just wonderin if anyone has been catching any salmon around there??

There should be good fishing there right now the summer run Chinooks are showing up right now ,good luck with your outing this weekend..

I've been checking in with buddy's back home for fishing reports. There getting some nice 17-18lb springs around Swale rock. I would be fishing little beale or whittlestone this time of year. if the weathers not cooperating you can also fish Ohiat, which is just behind Helby island.

good point!..was tcking in there few yrs ago watched a man/son haul around an 80 about 30 yrds from shore..dropped my shit there the next day and nailed 3 between 30-50..might hit it this weekend to.

ther e should be some good fishing for salmon there as it's been good at nit nat and renfrew lots of fish in the 20's a few in the 30's one guy was jigging for cod off suziet falls (not far from where you are) and got a 40lb spring,haly fishing is always good there.BUT you have to watch the rca areas rite there .Good luck.

the other guys were hanging cut plugs....I threw out the anchor and targeted the butts....stressless spot,easy fishin.
