several more that have been harvested..dont know whats holding up the stories and photos..3 I have seen the actual bears 1 just the photo..and one just told by hunter he connected..havnt seen the bear nor the photos...and some hunters going back for second go and others are headed out Monday for first go.

Exellent G bear...already 2 lifesized G bears ???what about a 1/2 mount coming out of the wall. ??Steven @ Wildlife Designs has a awesome new form...I really like the style...rugs take up so much room...

Have had a few pm lately on size of the skull .So finely measured it 26 15/16 to 27 inches .It was really wide ,11 5/8 .Does anyone know if that is wide for a 27 inch skull .Thanks again to all the people that helped me with the info and hunt .Have a great Christmas to every one

Tremendous bear...well done....and yes that area holds some damn fine bears..in soem ways easier and some ways harder as these bears seem to be constantly on the move except for 2 weeks of the year.....

He said 41 or 42 but if you look at were the bears come from (coast or interior ),For a interior bear its # 1 not that it matters.Funny thing after getting such a large bear last year ,and again getting the draw this year .I had way more fun taking my good friend Rick and my wife out to see if they could get a griz than going after one for myself .Well I hope the best to all the LEH people out there ,we should know soon

Based on the most recent BC Book (6th edition) it would be in a 4 way tie for 41st. As for interior bear it would depend on your definition of 'interior'. Number 4 is listed from Alexis Creek, number 5 is Anahim Lake which I would define as interior. Others in the top 40 are listed as Cluculz creek (#13), Bear Lake (#19) and Nechako River (#22) which are definitely interior, several others from fringe areas like babine lake, morice river, telkwa river. But like you said not that it really matters, still a fantastic bear and based on the enteries in the book it is the 5th largest in the past 20 years and 2nd largest in the past 10 years. Actually only 7 enteries in the top 100 are from the past 10 years so that goes to show how rare a bear this size is!!
