testing

I know this is an on going question but has anyone ever taken there bear meat for testing?
i just took one from port alberni and would like to test the meat.
I would like to have saus & pep made.

What are you testing it for? Just assume like pork that it has something and then cook it fully. Was there something strange about the bear? No need to test, just cook and eat. If you find some wierd looking meat, chuck it out.
