Is there one who will do bear around Prince George? How about doing the hide?

as far as butchering goes, I would debone the bear and freeze it until August when Huniford Meats opens. I do that to mine, then get it all turned into honey garlic pepperoni and garlic sausage...its the best pepperoni and garlic links you'll ever have.

Roger's on first ave has will do sausage and smokies, the smokies are real good and he will do a ham as well. we take in a ham or two to get smoked and a dog food pail full of meat for smokies, he does not want the whole bear. we bone out in the bush as we don't want the whole bear either, just all eadible portions............

I grind it and do it all myself .... the only thing I would take to a Butcher is a Moose ...just because its so damn big .... Does Chilako still do wild meat?
