well picked her up last night. Spent most of the day celebrating my sons 8th birthday. Went for a drive around 5pm. Maggie and Max hit the road. Both dogs are working hard, they must have sniffed every grain of sand , dirt and rock twice:-D
We come around a corner and the wind is blowing up from the creek. Both dogs start to wind, so i sit there for a minute or two while they check out the road. All the sudden another good gust comes up from the creek and Maggies off, with Maxs right on her heels.
I can see them splash through the creek, and boom maybe 75 yards out they are treed. I walk down thinking right on maybe a coon or a bear. Get to the dogs and i cant see anything its just two thick to see. So let the dogs have some fun, and snapped some picks.
Well when i went to leave Maggie and Max would not move. Finaly I leashed them up and literaly dragged them back to the truck. As i got to the truck both dogs were still baying so i turned and looked and low and behold at the very top of their tree was this nice little sow.
Maggie rating to date 100 percent. One strike one bear in tree:-D
