This is in R2. I went out yesterday and found a 'meadow' left by a huge avalanche. What is nice is there are two creeks running through this area, along which there are a lot of bear and blacktailed deer signs. If this was in R3, I'll definitely take this site as a premium mule deer spot. But I'm not sure about blacktailed deer in this case. Looking forward to your opinion.

The area is a lot bigger than the photo shows.

Also the forest in this area is one hundred percent old growth. How old is it? Look at the size of the trees, and every single one of them is this big! Definitely some big old bears found their dens in the area.

Looks good. But you're gonna hear about it from someone who thinks you gave away their honey hole with the pic of the peak above it...

I'd try it come October/November. as the bucks start following feeding does around.

I'm pretty sure that's no one's honey hole yet except me. :D I knew someone will recognize that peak, but I don't care. If you're willing to hike in that much to get a honey hole, you have my respect!
