Ashley's First Bruin!!!

Took the kids out for a drive this afternoon, saw 12 Bears all together, she got a shot at the fifth one we saw, but flat out missed it!!:icon_frow then the seventh one of the day gave us what we were looking for, a good broad side shot!!!:mrgreen: And the rest is in the bag!!!

My son Dakota has yet to take his first animal....We are practicing shooting quite a bit lately and he is getting better.
He will be ready for this fall and is going on his first moose hunt!

I have a 243 also and its a heck of a rifle. My wife likes it a lot too. Sometimes she even lets me use it. LOL.
One day my grandaughter will hopefully take her turn with that rifle.
